Stormfall

Stormfall is a third-person roguelite shooter. Drop onto a seeded alien stage, kill for gold and XP, open chests for items that stack, finish the world's objectives to wake the Beacon, then hold its ground while its boss and the waves come for you. Step through the portal to a harder world. The clock never stops, and the difficulty climbs with it.

From the fifth stage a Stormgate opens beside each portal. Take it to the Eye of the Storm and face the Stormheart, or keep looping for as long as you survive.

• Ten worlds, each generated from a seed: a primeval jungle, a neon megacity, a frontier desert under two suns, a bug-infested colony, ruined cities, frozen shelves…
• Over forty enemy kinds and ten bosses, each with telegraphed attacks
• Stacking items in three tiers, plus fourteen pieces of active equipment
• Objectives, incidents and a storm on every stage: hunt a loot thief, crack a falling cache, survive an ambush, or fight through the lightning
• The Stormforge: Storm Shards from every single player run buy permanent upgrades and unlocks
• Four difficulty settings, from Breeze to Maelstrom
• Controller support with rumble, plus touch controls on phones and tablets
• Every model, animation, sound and song is generated by code

In your browser you play single player. Co-op for 1–4 players is in the Linux download: one player hosts and the others join over the local network with the invite link (or use a VPN such as Tailscale to play over the internet). Windows and macOS builds are coming.
